I don't get the appeal of poetry.
And I mean actual poetry with rhythm and rhymes, not the freeform crap that's not even poetry.
If it has rhythm and it rhymes... why not put it to music? These are lyrics!
Listening to poetry without music to me is like eating raw dough when you could bake it into a cake.
It's just an unfinished song.
