Hello- I'm a Westernized Asian anon who wants, after a youth of being indoctrinated by modern Western garbage, to learn about his roots (specifically Korean culture) by immersing himself in Asian philosophy and art.

Has anyone else gone through a similar process (but with a different background perhaps)? If so, how can I get started? Anything you would do differently if you were to do it again? I read can Korean at an elementary school level but ideally would like to read texts in hanja down the line.

Are Park Chung Hee's books on nation-building good? Also reccomend some other books that focus on building and modernizing nations.
