A few threads ago I mentioned The Book of Knights by Yves Meynard, and i'm now a little more than halfway through it (very slow reader). Don't see it mentioned too often on here and i'm not sure why, it's a very enjoyable read. Not sure what the payoff is going to be, but the journey itself is written very well even though it's mostly typical fantasy fare. I usually hate coming-of-age fantasy because i think it treads dangerously close to YA shit, but Meynard did it in a much more palatable way. Anyway, should i read The Red Knight next? Is it actually any good?
