Why do so many pessimist philosophers try and add some cope into their philosophy as to why they didn't kill themselves, why can't they take it to the logical end and just neck themselves? I can only think of Mainlander who actually put his philosophy into practice, the rest come off as hypocrites who complain about life but find platitudes to justify their inability to commit suicide.
