I really like it. I liked The Demolished Man maybe a little bit more but that one kind of shot itself in the foot by writing a perfect 10/10 ending and then going on for another chapter and over explaining things that anyone who was paying even a little bit attention would've already gotten. Got quite a Christian vibe from the ending of Stars since Gully was kind of a messiah figure that would bring salvation to the world with his whole space jaunting thing.
Using antiquated transportation in a teleportation society as an ostentatious display of wealth I could certainly see happening. Since that's more or less already happening with stuff like vinyl records and vintage cars.
Marry Robin and ignore everyone else to be honest.
And Jesus Christ Neil Gaiman as always worming his way onto every book. He wrote the afterword on my copy. Does that guy even have time to write books after all his prolific blurb bullshit? I wonder where he finds the time.
