Can you guys recommend me interesting books that you would say have had a strong impact on your lives?
No fiction preferably, pic related did it for me.

Just read the book Waking Up and I'm grateful for it teaching me to helping me achieve self transcendence and to be able experience these euphoric moments of pure consciousness , awareness , headlessness etc.
But I'm constantly sitting around the house or lying in bed, or just pausing randomly while standing and just entering the headless state of pure consciousness he describes and this feeling is so fascinating and relaxing that I feel like I'm losing my motivation to live life and achieve my goals because when i become pure consciousness I don't have the motivation to do anything since all my motivation to achieve my goals came from thoughts , but when i become consciousness there are no thoughts to move me to behave socially acceptable , leave my home and do daily task, go to the gym , eat , etc.
I fear that i am going to lose my ability to think and just become a nihilist hermit who doesn't have the motivation to do anything except provide my mortal form with sustenance , sleep, and sit alone all day in solitude enjoying and observing the bliss of pure awareness.
Etc. Any advice ? I don't want to be a buddhist monk who sits in a cave all day with no life who simply lives in consciousness 24 hours a day, but this state of pure awareness is kind of addictive so what should i do to help balance it and remain functional and use it to achieve goals and increase my motivation.
Maybe i should only mediate 20 minutes a day and the other 23 hours and 40 minutes just forget about all the spirituality and consciousness stuff and allow my thoughts to form the illusion that "I am" those thoughts and just identify with it since its necessary to think for practical purposes ?
