It took me 5 months of my life to read that series, totally worth it. Just keep it up OP you'll get faster over time.

Most light novels still don't get translated ;_;
Thankfully honzuki is getting translated but it's not nearly fast enough. I finally grinded my kanji enough to finish the LN and WN and it was totally worth spending all last summer on it.

At the time it felt like my brain was being sucked through a straw and it was all I focused on for months but once I finished it felt great. Like I'd finished a marathon and my daughteru was there waiting for me at the finish line.

Anyway OP just embrace the pulp fiction, or even better, realize that there's tons of undiscovered mediocre to decent literature that you'll never hear about and will never get a translation.
