Don't feel bad for not reading anon.

Only a elite minority of the population has the mental capacity to read consistantly.

Go watch a streamer on twitch or something :)

I'm currently reading pic related and enjoying it immensely, but I can't help but feel that something is lost by reading a translation. Since I'm not smart enough to learn Russian to the point that I can enjoy Dostoevsky in the original, I'm looking for English authors with similar psychological depth and intensity of feeling.

its a good choice, however do note that the book is the worst at the start, and gets sequentially better the more it progresses, with a great ending
AND THE AXE IS SUPPOSED TO BE THE OTHER WAY

Hey /lit/ does anyone here who has read crime and punishment give me some help?

I had an assignment about the book and i need about three quotes about how Sonia is somewhat of a "savior" for Raskolnikov. Unfortunately after i finished the book i never took into account of remembering specific quotes like these. Also if you could provide roughly what page and where in the book it is so i can find it myself would be great!

Any input is greatly appreciated.

I finished Crime and Punishment some hours ago, and now I want to watch the best film-adaption of it. So which is it? I don't really care how old it is or anything, but i saw a clip from the one from 1930's and it almost looked like they went for a somewhat comedic approach to it. Sorry for potentially bad english.

Pic related.
