[He smoked a cigarette]

Man "I've no choice, I must, I must! Nay dare I take the risk, I must fill! O' accursed station tell me, tell me why you daunt me? O' how I fool myself 'tis, not you, but I, me!"

Gas station ". . ."

Man "Another day I suppose, where you've overcome me, ridiculed me, outdid me."
