hey guys, I made a thread a couple days ago and had to do something right after so I ran off and completely forgot about it. i'm just going to copy/paste what I had in that post and see if I get any more recommendations. I will be around to discuss suggestions this time.
so, the question: what's a good liberal arts school that would accept me with a 3.0 from a state school and is good with giving out financial aid?
I need to get out of the midwest.
Or, maybe not, but at least Wisconsin.

After checking the archive, I saw that I was given two suggestions- Warren Wilson College near Asheville, NC; and New College in Sarasota, FL. I'm actually really interested in Warren Wilson- New College sounds nice, too, but I'm not big on beaches and tropical weather. WW's campus seems really nice, too. I should add that I've had some interest in Lawrence University for some time, too.

Also, has anybody else done what I want to do? Transfer from a state school with 35k students to a <1000 student liberal arts school? How did it go?
