Hello, /lit/. In my Junior year of highschool, I wrote a comparison essay between the books "Their Eyes Were Watching God" and "The Great Gatsby." I didn't know what to write about, so my AP English 11 teacher told me to write about why they didn't interest me (I know, fuck me). So, in response, I wrote what I believed to be a funny little paper the day said paper was due (I typed it out on my iPod Touch during class). It's not quite a satire, not quite a farce, just me being humorous. I got a 99% on it, the highest of the three A's for that paper. Wow. I'm posting it below, tell me what you think.
It's a rough draft, so there will be mistakes, but nothing to detract from the wonderful reading experience (hopefully).
