Anthony Fantano is an actual sociopath. People like him are a parasitic drain on every society. One day, I hope, we will have a method of detection and a populace willing to go "all the way" when it comes to dealing with them. For now, be wary of everything he does and says.

A small question /lit/.

Are the philosophies of Robert Anton Wilson, Antero Alli, and their ilk at odds with that of writers such as Cioran, Michelstaedter, Artaud, and Celine?
It may seem odd, but I'm trying to find a way to settle the grim and pessimistic with the bizarre new age type stuff.
I was very into a lot of Falcon press stuff before delving into more bleak literature and now that I'm rereading a lot of books from R.A.W. and Antero Alli (namely Angel Tech), I find it hard to identify with anything they're writing.
The only thing I find promising in them and the practices they espouse is the potential for creative enhancement.
I would appreciate it if anyone moderately well-versed in both R.A.W. etc. etc. and pessimistic philosophy/literature would let me know if, and if so how, they are able to settle what seems to me, diametrically opposed perspectives on life.
