What does /lit/ think of this book?

Haven't read this, but it is often recommended as depressing and it's Jappy which an animado probably likes.

I have about 45-50 dollars to spend on books. I'm going to buy them used, in good condition, on amazon so I can add some to my collection. I don't just want good books though, I can read those for free, I want books that are worthy of collecting or sharing with friends.

My current collection consists of:
>The Stranger
>Les Chants de Maldoror
>Infinite Jest (which I've never read, got it before I even knew about /lit/)
>Blood Meridian
>Naked Lunch
>The Loser
and some other basic philosophy books like Nietzsche and some basic philosophy overview stuff.

What else should I add to the collection?

What are some books that make you not care about anything? I would think some existential books like The Stranger, The Metamorphosis, and Nausea would do the trick but I want /lit/'s opinion.

Where do you guys find your rare books?

I am broke and just got a tablet so I can finally read epub books in my bed but I can't find any good books to read. I search on TPB, #bookz, and Google but I can't find any of the books.

The books are No Longer Human, The Day Lasts More Than a Hundred Years, and Journey to the End of the Night. They are seemingly popular books but I can't find them for the life of me. Where do you guys find those hard to come by books or where else can I look?

I already have three books coming in the mail so don't give me shit about using an e reader.

I found this book pretty meh. I got through the 2nd diary and had to put the book down because it is just some guy complaining about how he can't relate to human beings. Sure I can empathize with his character, a even relate somewhat to him, but I don't need to hear him complaining 200 pages.

Anyways my point is, should I try reading it again? Is it really all the great?
