How many books can a person read and retain until he starts to forget previous information he deems important? Does long-term memory have a limit or is it infinite? Can you measure this capacity?

Hey /lit/, quick question. Looking for a specific book.

A couple years ago, I was at a bookstore, and in the appointment books/calendar sections, there was an unusual little book.

It was more or less like a diary/daily planner, but it had achievements you had to earn through the week (or day, I don't remember). Like... "go to a bar you like, and start a conversation with a bunch of strangers".
You could complete all the tasks, and if I'm not mistaken, it had something to do with getting a bracelet from the company upon completing all the tasks.

I really wanna gift this to my sister, but I can't find it anywhere. Anyone ever heard of it, or something similar?

Thanks in advance.

Do you read everyday?
How much time would you say you spend reading per week? Is it enough for you or would you like to read more?
How many books a month? A year?
Do you finish a book to start another one, or do you read more than one book at a time?

If your life doesn't change, then you're implying everything around you is standing still, including you yourself.

Physically, this is impossible, so every little thing you do has some effect on your life, every little thought, every little choice, every little impulse. (Butterfly effect etcetera).

If you choose to keep yourself busy with philosophy, chances are you'll start thinking differently, which will let you look at choices in another perspective, and perhaps, eventually change your normal impulses.

Oh boy, here we go.

I'm not even going to stay in this thread, as it can't possibly end well. Why have a debate about Muslims and how they should or should not be treated when we have absolutely no input at all FROM Muslims. The only people you're discussing the issue with are young white men (generally) who, if they have any honesty, will admit they have no idea what they're talking about.

Before I go, Muslims aren't insane and ready to kill everyone because of a South Park episode. There is a very small collection of mad men who do think this way, and of course nobody should defend them. My point is, if ever discussing this topic in the real world, try to say 'extremists' because if you just talk like ALL Muslims are insane, you'll look like an ignorant idiot.

The vast majority are fine, and have done no harm to you, or to anyone.

Goodbye, enjoy your terrible thread.
