man, i like this book like you wouldnt believe. i need another experience like this. i felt i was there. i already read 2666. what should i read now?

Hey guys, as someone who recently read 2666 and loved it, I was wondering if I would likely also enjoy Bolaño’s other well known novel. Im not usually the type of person to ask the opinion of /lit/ before I read something, but I’ve been kinda scared of jumping into this one mainly because I have heard more than once that if the reader has no knowledge of Latin American poetry the book is not quite as good and confusing. As there are many on this board who have read it I was wonder what you all would think. Thank you
