I haven't read a fiction book in about a year. Even before that, I hardly read fiction preferring non-fiction.

So tell me /lit/, what should I read now?

What kind of books kind you read in a non-linear way, like open a random page, read it and not really be out of the loop.

Recommend me some good books, /lit/. I'm not looking for any genre in particular, just something to pick up the next time I visit the library.

I have $12 on amazon. What are some non-fiction books that you found engaging, that you'd recommend? I'd like to get one.

Hope jannies won't mind.

Over the last couple of months I have been building a 4chan clone, a board which is centered around literature.

So far it has basic functionalities of a board like on here, as it's a hobby project, and I don't have much time for it.

There is one thing that is different from this is that image upload is highly limited, and you can't post everything(this to avoid the need for moderation)

If anyone is interested take a look at

What are some neat technical non-fiction books about the evolution of technology, tools, or cryptography?

Does reading really makes you smarter or is just a meme?

Any suggestions on how to organize my books through spreadsheets in a goodreads style?

Why are books so expensive? I try to find used copies of books, but they end up not having it in stock anywhere.

I sometimes think it would be a great thing if poets from all over the world could unite their efforts into making a multilingual poetry. Any ideas?
