My gf loves to read but when she is reading alound to me it is over the top and dramatic, she sounded like she was method acting when she read Song of Roland. She changes her voice with different character and stuff, it gets obnoxious but I don't wanna sound rude, so I am trying to find books this won't bother me with. I already know philosophy works, Beyond Good and Evil was dignified (not dialogues though, those don't work out)

"Being and God", although you need to read "Structure and Being" first
