OK, to keep this on topic, does reading books give you legitimate life memories? And you look back on the time with nostalgia? Or is this a consequence of my zero social life? I read a lot of books but I'm not a mega patrician.

Are there any books which talk about being ugly? I don't mean really deformed / some medical condition. Good old fashioned male unattractiveness that I can relate to. I've read My Twisted World btw.
