In fact, it's more consistent to be in favour of workplace democracy as a libertarian. It's pretty obvious to anyone with half a brain that the workplace is like a dictatorship, which is very contrary to libertarian ideals. But for some reason, most libertarians cannot grasp the concept of republican freedom and positive freedom, nor can they see the violation of negative freedom inside the workplace.
Adam Smith, Paine, and Locke all knew this. They believed in self employment as opposed to slavery by giant corporations. And they thought that with the abundance of land in America everyone could be a self sufficient yeoman farmer. But after the industrial revolution happened, this was just not feasible due to economies of scale making it more efficient to run giant factories with hundreds of people employed. This idea of capitalism allowing most to flourish as self sufficient farmers — in other words, freedom — never faded after the industrial revolution, however. Thus this ideology of capitalism being freedom was carried into popular rhetoric and into libertarian thinking.

Did she not know about the term "authoritarianism"? Also, if she were alive today she'd be supporting BLM and the dems
