To be honest with you, at this point I just want to transcend identitarian categories with regards to my body of work, because it feels kinda shitty to be put in a sort of ghetto based on identity, if that makes sense. Like I just want to be a classic as opposed to a "lesbian autist canon classic" or somesuch. Maybe I worry too much as to what other people think.

I just want to write about misery at this point in my life, less about people transcending their misery so much as they stop wallowing in it. Maybe in an existential sense? Like I want to depict what I personally know best at the moment, which is this sort of young adult existential dread. Meaning in society is being hollowed out and replaced with bullshit involuntary categorism, at least in my opinion.
