Any books on how a person becomes an NPC?

I've read a bit of Kierkegaard's works on despair which somewhat get into this problem. Anyone else?

What does Jesus' death on the cross mean? And why is it so psychologically effective? The idea is that Jesus, the son of God, died on a cross unjustly crucified by the wicked people of humanity. When people hear this story, they intuitively believe it. They don't need a rational explanation or proof, it just makes sense on some level, despite being completely irrational and bizarre when you zoom out and think about it.

Why is this? What does it mean? Are there any books about this topic and why it just makes sense to so many people?

Suddenly everyone is talking about the coming technocratic dystopia, and it isn't really making much sense to me.

You have endless literature discussing this like Ellul's "The Technological Society", and the endless tech-dystopia movies that have come out over the 20th century. So if the system has been showing us tech dystopia, why are they wheeling it out now?

I've been reading Hegel's Aesthetics and I can't figure out if Hegel is an atheist who thinks that God or the "Absolute" is just the destiny of the rational mind unfolding, or if he's literally talking about the monotheistic Christian "God"

The fucking Greeks could not be more tedious or boring. I've slogged through 5 dialogues of plato, parts of The Republic, and a few of Aristotle's works.

Every page is more painful than the last. Mind numbing rambling and already well-established concepts (Mostly via. Christianity). Most of Socrate's faggot dialogues are just a secularized version of what's already in The Bible, just spoken less poetically.

Socrates would essentially be a skeptic youtube channel in the current year. Just some miserable idiot walking around trying to deboonk people for views. Why is this shit required as a pre-requisite for actual interesting philosophy?
