Books will not help you, find a reason to exist and delude yourself of its importance. For example, I realized:

If I am going to commit suicide, I believe my life to be inherently worthless, therefore, failure is of no consequence to me. Since I can take unlimited risk, there is no difference between a great, difficult task and a simple one.

I will never enjoy living, but many do, therefore as a disposable agent, I must make their lives better and longer, and should this demand of me more than I am able, I will provide until nothing remains.

None of this is logical, and likely only makes sense to myself, but it does give me a reason to exist; I know I will never achieve anything worthwhile. Make your suffering, or joy, into a self-congratulatory imitation of the mental strength most individuals natively possess.
