I don't understand death. How can non-existence be comprehended by the mind, during the moment of death, if prior to all it comprehends it's own existence? In other words, how can I die if I can't register the fact of my death? It must follow that death is impossible. In the same way as "sleep" is taken by the brain upon the moment of awakening, with 6-8 hours gone in an instant, death must be a mere instant before the inevitability of comprehension.

Which philosophy can help me overcome intense fear of death? It's getting really bad, bros
