WtC is in big part a deconstruction of this part of writing-sphere, so it toys a lot with the idea of harem, but the approach is analytical. Just see the characters reactions and conversations and you will realize it's not being a 'harem' at all.

The story is quite big on this, but I don't recall actual therapies being excessively present in the plot. The plot and story themselves are supposed to be therapeutic.

Oh man, if only you knew half the weird stuff WtC gets up to. I've never seen a story so meta before, especially at the end where it goes full schizo and becomes retro-actively even weirder. More than just a litrpg story, Worth the Candle is literature. Mogs most of the stories out-of-the-box through sheer depth of storytelling.

Btw, I recommend reading the story on RR or AO3 or wherever, I heard the author had to adjust some things or change names due to copyrights, as such some things will be made worse for the published version, like lack of Shia LaBeouf.

The korean cover you used is absolutely cursed, in the best way.

Primal hunter is more of a popcorn story that you are supposed to read once a day, similarly to DotF and Azarinth Healer. Better characters than DotF and Azarinth Healer as well. I considered adding it Superior Tier, but the overall quality isn't that good to be honest, although it's close.

Infinite Realm is one of the better ones because it tries to be an actual story with real characters and thought-out plot. More of a Epic Fantasy approach. May actually be the best among Superior Tier. Depends on your stance on edginess and morally grey characters, though.

Your enjoyment from Worth The Candle will depend on whether you read just to be entertained or to read about something interesting. Rationality, strange philosophical ideas, psychology, that sort of stuff. Not that it isn't incredibly hilarious, even epic at times, but it's not a pop-corn fic. Has its worse moments, but I consider it one of the best stories that have come out the genre. Its placement in Ascended Tier is fully justified.
