Plato is King. Read Iamblichus, Corpus Hermeticum, Damascius, Simplicius, Priscian, and Olympiodorus. (Plotinus and Proclus have more self and world denying tendencies, but you can find the same life affirming doctrines there by reading carefully.)

Pic related should indirectly cause you to see the logical inconsistencies with Gnosticism.

I don't usually say this, and bash anyone who do, but I recommend starting with Plato's First Alcibiades, then Republic (I am shook), then the first 5 books of Plato's Laws (and the rest if you want). Then Statesman, then Crito, then Gorgias, then Protagoras, then Pic Related.
This is almost entirely the wrong order to read Plato. But since you already see yourself as moral, yet immoral externally (by not Energizing your Potency, is anything more Immoral?).

Plato's Last Days of Socrates, Lysis, Hippias Major and Minor, Protagoras, Charmides, Euthydemus, Statesman, Laws, Gorgias, Philebus Republic, Timaeus-Critias, then Pic Related (or read it first since you're already quite well read in something else).
