consuming video games is one of the best right now, like ER himself did for years back then (the problem got way worse when he stopped)

another fine one is reading books, watching series as well, just find a hobby to consume and feel good

some of us were born to socialize and have irl relationships, etc.

some of us were simply not meant to, just life's lottery, some of us just drew being a wageslave and contributing to upholding societal order through our daily work so others can enjoy paradise, we get to consume commodities as a reward

when you get older your brain adapts, like mine did, and you actually enjoy life in a stoic manner
