I remember these fondly.

I try to tell people this when I can. Its dull throughout. Lots of interesting ideas are introduced, but they sit their to be fleshed out by other authors, if that much.
The little short stories from the Tales of/from were far more interesting

I didn't like Heir to the Empire. It introduces a lot of stuff and does pretty much nothing with any of it. Boring as hell.
These short stories were more fun

Thrawn was soooo boring.
Okay setup, but no payoff. Zahn sucks. I wish I had read Le Guin instead.

The shorts from these are cute slices, imo.

These (along the Mos Eisley one) are pretty great. They were my favorites as a nerdy little dork in the 90s.

They're short story collections, so they also might be ideal for reading in another language.

There are no great Star Wars novels. They have moments, only. There are nice ones. These pictured are nice. The comics are nice on occasion.

No it isn't good. It's mediocre at best. It's dry as toast dull.
