Nothing should be taken away, but i would like to see more literature from different cultures. European literature is almost everywhere but we never hear about chines mythology or arabian folklore. I think adding these works will be good. The spanish part of the world has some goo books like 100 days in solitude and 2666, so there obviously has to be other gems like such across the globe. Africa might have some dope literature like the heart of darkness but more detailed and mystic

It's (too) hard to find other literati, even if you join book clubs or similar clubs. They mostly have a shallow analysis of pop literature.

But at my university, I can speak to any random person and start an intelligent conversation. It is not hard to find literati here.

Everybody can consider themselves a philosopher, but only academically recognized thinkers are deemed as true philosophers.

Where there are films that are considered to be more artistic than others, and games that are considered to be more artistic than others, what literature can be considered the most artistic?

Try Karen Blixen, Inger Christensen, Selma Lagerlöf, Anais Nin, Virginia Woolf, Isabel Allende, the admittedly lesser Shelley
