After trying to cling on to the remaining sanity I had left by schizo posting my pseud ramblings on lit the past few nights, I have officially sunk into nihilistic despair.

Which I blame completely on the 18th and 19th century German philosophers.

Recommend me some French or Russian or British romanticism books to bring blissful ignorance back into my life.

Are there any reading lists/charts for romanticism? Is there such thing as a romantic canon?

1.) Think of death more than you breathe.
2.) Trust no one. Everyone is a liar.
3.) Seek people's true motives.
4.) We tell ourselves stories to keep ourselves sane. Divine the stories people tell themselves and you will know their soul.
5.) Save money and invest wisely.
6.) Don't watch TV or mindlessly browse the internet.
7.) Stay off online basket weaving forums.
8.) You owe no one anything.
9.) Do onto others what advances your strategic position.
10.) Don't feel bad for hurting others. They would do the same to you if they had the advantage.
11.) There is no good and evil, just survival. Never fall into any moralistic mind fuck trap.
12.) Remember that only the fittest will survive.

The figures of the past had heroes that influenced their entire lives. I've read through a good number of people who have influenced the greats but none of them have had any profound effect on me. Who should I read if I want to have the same feeling they did?

>Indeed, in me there is something invulnerable and unburiable, something that explodes rock: that is MY WILL. Silent and unchanged it strides through the years. It would walk its way on my feet, my old will, and its mind is hard of heart and invulnerable.
Invulnerable am I only in the heel. You are still alive and your old self, most patient one. You have broken out of every tomb. What was in my youth unredeemed lives on in you; and as life and youth you sit there, full of hope, on yellow ruins of tombs.
Indeed, for me, you are still the shatterter of all tombs. Hail to thee, my will, And only where there are tombs are there resurrections.
Thus Spoke Zarathustra.

What branches of philosophy are worth reading? Most of it seems to be just be extremely obvious points wrote over thousands of pages.

>Epistemology is mind numbingly boring who gives a shit whether a chair is really a chair.
>Ethics is probably the most useful but not very interesting. Who cares if ethics are objective or whether or not the train should run over people.
>Aesthetics is interesting but just reading about art is more fulfilling.
>Logic and language are just autism
>Metaphysics is useless just read about cosmology and science
>Political philosophy is whatever. Better to just read Political Science and Economics.

Christianity is a life denying religion. Christianity is the cause behind boomers wearing 7 layers of masks while shouting at zoomers for having fun in the midst of a pandemic. If you're afraid of death, you are not living. The acceptance of ones own mortality is the first step towards living life. If you're more concerned about your own life than those you have responsibility over you're weak and cowardly. Pathetic. Depending on other people to live is pathetic, weak and selfish. The day I can no longer take care of myself, clean myself, eat by myself is the day I wish nothing more than to free other people from my own ill fortunes and at the very least let them pursue life and not drag them down to my own level.
