Only as long as you do nothing.
If you do something, if it is worthwhile, your fame will come eventually, even if it's long after your death or very late in life.
What defines Nous is not what's within him, but what's from him.

I checked the sticky but didn't see any resources for helping with writing your own literature. What are some good guides/sites for writing, and in my case, fiction? I know that i have to read a ton, but aside from reading, what are the best tools i can utilize? I need tips on story structure, plot, characters, setting etc, basically everything regarding writing. I'm not asking to be spoonfed, I just want some advice on where i can find some guidelines regarding this stuff.

It's trying to run away from whatever is killing it, but it is dying to everywhere, whether this is mere mechanical processes from instinct like a binary computer, or the exact same fundamental qualia (without our main senses), but what is intensity? If you're so small and your consciousness is too, isn't this panic and fear and pain to it as great as dying feels to us?

If in saying these things about it, that it is Ineffable, that it is the inner sanctuary of all things and that it cannot be conceived, we contradict ourselves
in our argument, it is necessary to realize that these are names and thoughts that express our labor pains, which dare to meddle improperly with the Ineffable, standing at the threshold of the inner sanctuary, but reporting nothing
about what takes place there; instead they simply inform us about our own
states with regard to it, namely, the puzzles and the failure to find resolution,
and that, not clearly, but through intimation, and at that, only to those who are capable of attending to these things.

>Something besides a unity there must be or all would be indiscernibly buried, shapeless within that unbroken whole: none of the real beings [of the Intellectual Kosmos] would exist if that unity remained at halt within itself: the plurality of these beings, offspring of the unity, could not exist without their own nexts taking the outward path; these are the beings holding the rank of souls.

>In the same way the outgoing process could not end with the souls, their issue stifled: every Kind must produce its next; it must unfold from some concentrated central principle as from a seed, and so advance to its term in the varied forms of sense. The prior in its being will remain unalterably in the native seat; but there is the lower phase, begotten to it by an ineffable faculty of its being, native to soul as it exists in the Supreme.

>To this power we cannot impute any halt, any limit of jealous grudging; it must move for ever outward until the universe stands accomplished to the ultimate possibility. All, thus, is produced by an inexhaustible power giving its gift to the universe, no part of which it can endure to see without some share in its being.

Close your eyes and dream.

What are some books for when you archive your goals but you don't really care about it so you are just as before, empty and apathetic ; and also feel fake because you didn't really desire to archive that goal. A book for that feeling when you are literally getting better but not actually?

I've read and done more this year than all previous years, yet fewer books than my age. I find myself looking back to when that age was 13, I see my mind from then as clear as now; the same "waves", same interests and tastes. Next week this will be 9 years ago. It dawns on me all the things I could have done if I kept-at-them, nigh to nothing worthwhile done.
The fantasy of what could be of everything I've ever tried, has satisfies me enough to never truly begin anything. I guess too vivid imagination is bad for work ethic:
>Here's ultra-realistic imagery of a future-famous-you having done X thing, on TV, talking about said X thing.
>That was fun, now I can go play video games/fap/music/fall asleep.
>How to be more conscientious
Or perhaps I can blame school and mild insomnia: Tired everyday with sleepless nights.
Hopefully next year leads to an even higher complexity than this year.

Is it even possible to make it when you are from a middle-class-schmuck-parents-weed-smoking-siblings-total-degenerate-"friends"-third-world-tier-education-upbringing background?
Are there any big names in the cannon who were not richfags, who didnt fit in the "high-society"?
What even is to "make it"? What is it behind all the books you read? What has been the magnet behind all literature, all the western cannon? What made Homer write the Odyssey in between all the chaos he lived?
I always see you guys having serious discussions about Plato, Deleuze... whatever, you name it. What made you guys get so much into something that is literally nothing after you look beyond the paper? Somedays I can't even get myself to read a page, I just stare at the window with nothing but slow-motion thoughts in my mind.
