If I start learning japanese, but can't properly explain it on terms that makes sense in english or spanish, but I can still translate what they try to say and I understand it on a feeling level...

Does that situation has a name?

well, I assume you will be interested in reading from a black african point of view and not an european dude talking about black people history.

Besides, the book is more about a tribe that "THINGS FALL APART" when the colonization start because more of bad luck, more than "HUH DUH WHITES ARE EVIL" kind of shit.

I do that too, I read a lot of books and the meter of dialogue and description had a big impact on my poetry. I doubt I’ll ever share it with anyone, but the feeling of making words connect to one another in a way that’s all my own is really nice. It makes me feel special, like I’m doing something only I can do.
