I've been reading sci-fi lately and I've decided that Philip K Dick is one of my favorite authors. What authors would /lit/ suggest in a similar vein (thought-provoking, occasionally twisted, sci-fi)?

And given how prolific many sci-fi and short story writers are (Asimov wrote more stories than I've probably read in my life), it would be helpful to include which works you think are good starting points

Greatest sci-fi author of modern.

Philip K. Dick

Argue? Nor Asimov, nor Bradbury nor Heinlein or any other author had as many popular and adopted books/tales. The commie bastard wrote so many good novels, we have our scenario quotas for good sci-fi movies filled till 2050.
