Well depending on your tastes there might be books you like more, just as with every book.
But I really believe this is a book everyone should read before they die. I really picked it up with trepidation, but I honestly couldn't put it down, I seriously almost finished it in one sitting. It's really really good, you should definitely at least give it a try if you just have it laying around before you get a new book.
