I went to a Calvinist church a while back. They were some absurdly bitter people; every single sermon was two to three hours long, not counting the rest of the service. They had this bible study thing where the entire time, they would bash on Catholics. The entire curriculum was based around the formula of, "Catholics believe X, but we hate them so we believe Y."

All the pepe's in the world wouldn't contain their smugness. Their pride at being part of the 'elect' was so fucking high that I'm sure God is disappointed heavily.

They also have the really odd belief that Catholics are going to hell for 'worshipping Mary' or following the 'pope antichrist'. For fucks sake, did Jesus die for our sins and preach mercy or decide that a group of uppity fucksticks with daddy issues were the only ones worthy? Their version of heaven would be so unbearably stuffy. I think I'd rather chill with Pope Francis in hell if all their words were true.

It's hardly sexist. Women and men are different from each other; they pursue their happiness in different ways. I just don't like the books ladies tend to read.

Which is also deplorable, but when you look at the people who are self described readers or pseudo philosophers, then you see a disturbing trend where everyone reads shit, but women read exponentially more of it.
