Are there any book ideas left unexplored in the modern world? It seems like every novel I finish writing I find a popular book just like it that was already published a century ago. It's especially frustrating because I spent hours and hours thinking all of this stuff up and trying my hardest to be original only for these ideas to appear in a much superior classic.

Just started reading this, what am I in for?

I'm quite positive that there's gonna be somewhat disturbing shit in it, but is it really that fucked or just 'average level' disusting?

Just for reference, I got it in the original English version

I'm not a pedophile, so naturally, just listening to the guy be, as he was intended to be, a sleazeball, was hard, especially because he was so good at it.

That it is the desperate and hopeless contemplation of something beautiful, beyond any sense of morality and beyond any possible reach.
And that it is completely unintelligible to women.

> Lolita is a french novel because its first print was published in Paris
> I don't care it was written in English by one of Russia's greatest
> it's French literature

Are frogs this desperate to have something of value for the world?

This is it for me. Sombrero Fallout I also got a good laugh from, and it's short enough to be read in one little session.
