How does Sam Harris reconcile spirituality with determinism? He's such an apologist for spirituality and spiritual experience, but also thinks the self is an illusion and free will doesn't exist. What would the spirit even be, if not a "self" , or decision-making agent, or like a supernatural existence? Does he just think the "spirit" that accounts for spiritual experience (oneness, love, whatever else he includes in it) is an illusion produced by states of consciousness?

So now that Sam Harris is a redpilled race realist is his career over?
Or will race realism gain mainstream acceptance?

Not really a philosopher, but since he's pretending to be one - look at this smug prick. Easily the most punchable face in the public eye right now. Ironically, I agree with a lot of what he says, but that shit-eating smirk is just too much for me.
