Yesterday I made a thread asking you kindly to share some Marxist/left-wing economic books, but sadly it was deleted for some reason before I had the opportunity to go through more than the first few answers.
So I guess I'll make a new thread. Looking for anything from Marx to contemporary. Thanks in advance.
Pic related is a book I have but I've learned that Piketty doesn't really fit these schools of thoughts because he's more of a liberal.

What are some contemporary left-wing/Marxist economic books? Where does one start to better understand these concepts and schools of thought?

Pic related, the only one I currently own.

Anyone here read this bad boy yet? I think it's about time you babies graduated from fiction and moved on to economic analysis and statistics like adults do. But seriously, for 600+ pages of mostly historical data this book was interesting as fuck.

>Reading outdated reviews of capital

It is ok to read Marx if you want to understand marxism. If you want to understand capital I highly suggest this.

8/10. Could be a 10 if it wasn't for the obvious bias in some parts against mainstream economics.

Also, great book if you are interested in the history of Capital since the industrial revolution.
