I did the same mistake(?) as you when starting out because everyone recommends reading the Trial tetralogy first, but it doesn't make any sense to me. I have no idea how popular this site (plato-dialogues org) is, but it's a blog about the dialogues and honestly the guy's order makes perfect sense to me. (if you go with this reading order i recommend you check out the site - as he explains the order itself - and also the commentaries for the first few dialogues because he talks about Plato's symbolism, which i don't see quite often)
