What is the actual best book on how to live life? I always feel like I have to do 10 things at all times. I hate that I don't spend all my time in hedonistic pursuits and also all my time on hard work. I feel cucked either way. In actual fact I spend my time in an unenjoyable inbetween state where I do no work yet procrastinate actual fun.

I waver between morality and amorality. I waver between having a naturalistic approach to everything and trying to be efficient as hell. Everyone else's opinion feels like an attack. Self help wavers between insightful and trite bullshit (mostly the latter).

I really hate considering psychology. I want to believe I have a free will even though I don't even feel like I have a consistent will, only changing wants.

What 12 books should a British person read if he is a very paranoid British person who worries that other people will call him a pleb? He just wants this paranoia to fucking end. He sees literature as entertainment but is tormented by pseudo intellectuals whether he goes and he cannot remain an honest man of taste. He is a paradoxically a very inexperienced yet very weary young man.

Thoughts on IcyCalm's new stuff? He even added a "Praise" section which I think includes stuff from lit.

I enjoy all of his stuff and I think my constant spam about unfalsifiability even had a response from him on his web page, though not one I agree with. His art essay changed the way I looked at many things and led me to believe in the importance of taste / fun both in itself and as an intellectual instinct.

I guess the obvious things I'd say are that all this "Rah rah overman" stuff is fun but we all know shit is arbitrary and may tend to nothing. Maybe space colonisation is physically impossible. Maybe increased social networking and technological progress leads to an awful society for people. Maybe society will turn to shit due to lack of resources etc.

Icy, what are your thoughts on art forms? Has literary culture turned in to a faggoty wasteland? How should I balance my hedonistic desires with my higher desires? Have you noticed that the spread of IQs on different 4chan boards differs, with the "worst" boards (/b/, tv, pol) containing both the smartestand dumbest people? How do you deal with the fact that none of your philosophising could ever have a priori predicted all sorts of scientific and mathematical conclusions?
