there are two cases, discriminated by the number of approaches:

-you are handsome and numerous girls approach you, claim to want to pay you drinks, give you what they see as little gifts or help you; the girls giggle or are shy

-you are below them on the beauty scale, or at best, at the same mark as them: in knowing that most men are spineless erotomaniacs, in hardly refusing a free shot at a girl, if they manage to stop being emotive as soon as a girl talk to them, the girls feel confident enough to approach you : you are a safe bet for her.
The talk of the girl is far straighter than for the above case.
Of course, this situation happens far less than the one above.

So ask yourself: do the girls who approach you are above you on the beauty scale ? are they girls that you would have noticed in an heart beat, if they did not come to talk to you ?
