It’s time for the next episode in Project Nano/lit/! If this is the first time you have seen a nano/lit/ thread, the way it works is simple. It is the project of this anon to inspire (You) to access your latent powers of creation and stop your incessant shitposting for ten fucking seconds so that you can produce some brilliant albeit very short story, poem, or other form based on the premise of the current episode. I merely ask that you write 50-500 words or 100-3000 characters on the subject of the newgods! This amount of writing fits within a single post on 4chan and is really short, hence the term nano/lit/.

Who are the newgods? How am I supposed to know? I know what they are in my universe, but they can be anything in yours. Have you ever thought that methamphetamine and its users should have a protector god? Write about that shit! Are the newgods produced through technology or magick or spirituality or ancient alien hunger god invaders? If you know me, they will DEFINITELY be produced by the latter. Here’s your chance to mock religion in a non-linear, creative manner. Who knows, maybe someday what you write will actually become an actual religion, or at least raised into the pantheon of Chaos Magick.

I am preserving all contributions from each Project Nano/lit/ thread and putting them inside a large image-issue for the time being. I will post all previous image-issues within every nano/lit/ thread. Once we have around 30,000 words, I will compile all of our work into an ebook and distribute it via P2P/torrents, IRC [as if anyone still uses that shit], libgen, and probably Dropbox. We are now at around 12,000 words, and this project is only a couple weeks old. Not bad for 3 threads so far.

But we can do better. Consider your anonymous contribution of original content to this project an exercise of your supreme talent. Show all of us that you, anon, are the most creative and weird out of all of us. [We like weird writing. A lot.] Be inspired by what you read ITT, and thereby become inspiring yourself. Fight the cancer. Act like an oldfag. And most of all have fun! Because why the fuck would we do anything unless it’s fun as fuck?
