I'd say upwards of 2/3s of this board are recent arrivals looking find a cohesive identity in books. They come here from "other boards" and shit up the catalog with their stupid threads.

The glut of these threads makes me puke. When confronted, many of these people openly admit to having come to /lit/ in the last three years, as if that makes them oldfags.

No. I think there is enough of a literature contingent here that we would have a usable board. This board has sped up tons recently, and almost all of that is due to philosophy posting. This was posted the other day, and this is exactly what I want to avoid.
