I think it is possible to make art, however there are definite limits in what are possible. I am not trying to say that all languages are equal, as they are anything but. My point is simply that art can be made in any language. This is not to say that a Proustian masterpiece can be made in a non-written african language, just that the arrangement of language can be used to make art. There is significance in that. I think that ignoring languages or not taking them seriously on account of a sense of European superiority (a feeling which I sympathize with fully) is useless. There is something to be gained through study of language, whether the three suggested in OP or not. Even the most primitive tongue of savages holds complexity from which to learn.
