It was written at a time when anti-Americanism was still a hot take and not the norm. Don't read it as an introduction to US history. Don't read it if you don't have any knowledge of histography and the context at the time of its publication. Read it if you want to drink the kool-aid and indoctrinate yourself with shit that's sadly become mainstream. Read it after a standard textbook. Pic-related is a good text and is used in 2nd-year level US History courses.
