/lit/ - Literature

Every time I go to write a story, because of the fact that I've already explored almost every dimension of it in my head, it isn't that fun to write. I'm basically just copying down something I've already thought up. How do I get out of this rut, /lit/? Do I just man up and write down one of my old ideas, or is there some trick to keeping everything fresh?

I always feel like going back to something that I made years ago is "stealing", as if time had made the idea no longer my own. The problem is, I'll come up with new ideas, get excited over them, run them through my head ad nauseam, and then the same problem will occur.

Does /lit/ know of any sort of portable typewriter? I handwrite with incredible inefficiency and I don't like lugging my laptop around. I just want access to some sort of digital typewriter, but as far as I can tell, there are none.
