I write more than I read but all of it is crap so I don't plan to publish it. I haven't read anything interesting from the modern press in over a year.
My reader friends keep recommending shallow YA books that I don't want to read (I hate teen protags) and a lot of the modern field all seem to be shades of SJW crap. SJW crap is super boring, I was tired it ten years ago. The vanity self publish market on Amazon doesn't produce anything worth reading either.
A few days ago I purchased the first Takeshi Kovacs novel. It's hilariously anime but its also very inventive with the AI run hotel and body switching sleeves. I will pick up Starship Troopers next.

WRT the rest of the thread, I don't bring up being female on 4chan either but its because I lurk or I just want to stay on topic. If you mention being a female you get plenty of incelposting but what I really dislike is how it always devolves into the guys obsessing over a self declared "female." There's no quicker way to derail a thread then for someone to post "i am wombyn." It never stays on topic after that because the thread immediately turns to obsessing over women.
