I finished the Southern Reach trilogy. I've got some questions.
>What the hell was the light fragment that S&SB created when experimenting on Sauls lighthouse?
>Why did they make such a big deal about the Director coming back at the end of Authority, only for them to offhandedly kill her off?
>What became of the clone of Henry?
>Was the phone actually sentient?
If I had those questions after Authority, I would've told myself that it's shit that doesn't matter to the narrative / it's weird & magical and explaining it would ruin it, but Acceptance did a lot of over-explaining of small things that didn't need explaining. I wonder if there was more to it.
