Hey /lit/, I checked the wiki, but the political section is pretty empty.
Could you recommend some non-fiction about socialism and communism. Of course, non biased texts are prefered. I already "The Communist Manifesto" and "Lenin's What Is to Be Done?".

communism in my view would be based more on the lines of collective ownership directed towards maximization of production and minimization of the required amount of input from each member of society. this would lead to an ideal 'post scarcity society'. however i feel with the rise of electronic and digital goods requiring extreme levels of mechanization and complication to manufacture, collective ownership cannot create the 'post scarcity society' as it might have been able to in, say, the 1930s or 1950s
the way all attempts at communism have failed in my view is that their interpretation of 'maximization of production' necessitated an extremely centralized state, which is never good.

I'm looking to get into Linguistics, /lit/izens. Where Should I start? I've checked the archive and there's nothing.
