I’m starting to look at all my writing since middle school until now (just out of highschool), and I can strongly see where my romanticisms and fetishes are playing roles into the way I conducted characters and the geberal stories. Anyone else having this happen? Does this type of thing eventually catch up to writers?

>continue to get crushes on highschool fictional characters in elementary school
>make a story in 6th grade about a 10 yo girl who discovers a demon who is a young adult and teaches him how to be human and have love in his life
>he becomes attached to her and falls in love with her non romantically but not in a brother/father way either, just general love
>fast forward to older elementary and middle school
>get crushes on highschool fictional characters
>make huge plot layout for a future cartoon that basically rehashes the old idea except she’s 14 and he’s 17 and there is a romantic crush he has. Continue to build on it throughout highschool, still plan on using it in the future.
>in highschool, only attracted immediately to colledge guys
>write ongoing webcomic about guy in his early 20s looking after his wheel chair middle school sister
>now out of highschool and decide to write story based in the shitty webcomic I did
>mfw realized all my stories including unmentioned ones have some form of age gap relationship, usually older male x younger female
>mfw realized always have boarderline incestuous undertones between brothers and sisters or cousins
>mfw realize always lolis power over older men
>mfw racially mixed relationships tend to be a thing I do a lot too
What the fuck. I didn’t realize it was effecting my writing this much. Sorry again for the blogpost but... is this a bad thing? Do any of your guys’ fetishes effect your writing? I’m genuinely concerned people are going to look at this someday down the line and say “yep, anon is a lolicon and into interspecies/interracial”
HELP I’m new to the /lit/ world and I don’t know if this catches up to a writer eventually.
