Hey /lit/. Whats the best Borges translation?Is pic related any good or should I get Ficciones translated by Kerrigan.
Also why is the hardcover edition of Collected Fictions cheaper than the paperback, its usually the other way around

How do people feel about Borges? In my opinion, he's probably one of the greatest short story writers of all time, if not the best.

I'm reading collected fictions by Borges for the first time. Can someone tell me what the good parts are? I've read the first 5 stories in this thing and they've all been short and pretty weak to be honest.
